After Hours Calls​​

• We have partnered with Children's Health to offer you a complimentary nurse advice line if you have a medical concern. Please call 972.964.5219 when the office is closed to be directly connected. The nurses are well trained and should be able to answer the majority of your questions. They send a summary of each call to Dr. Abraham who is always available if the nurses need further expertise or if you would like to speak to him directly. Please note that there will be a fee charged if Dr. Abraham needs to be consulted.

Billing / Payment

• We have partnered with SouthWest Billing Services to handle all billing related matters. Please call them at 469.519.1282 if you have any questions regarding your account.

• All payments are due at the time of service. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted. We are pleased to bill insurance on your behalf for all services rendered, but patients are ultimately responsible for any balance not paid by insurance.

Cancellations / Late Arrivals / No Shows

• We ask our families to notify us as soon as possible if they will not be able to make a scheduled appointment as a missed appointment was an opportunity for one of other children to be seen. We may charge a $50 fee for no shows, late arrivals, and cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Forms

• We understand that there may be forms which our office will need to fill out in order for your child to participate in day care, band, sports, and other activities. Please allow us at least 48 hours to complete these forms, and we will notify you when they are ready to be picked up. Please note that the office may charge a fee for completing these forms.

Holidays

• The office will be closed on all major holidays which include New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Medical Records

• You will be able to access and print your child’s immunization record by logging onto MyChart (see below). If you need any additional records, please fill out the Request for Medical Records form found under the Resources tab. We may charge a nominal fee for any requested medical records.

 

MyChart

• We are pleased to offer you a patient portal through Children's Health with which you can communicate with the practice, view records, obtain your child's vaccine record, request appointments, request refills, etc. In order to access MyChart, please click on the patient portal link at the top of the page..

Office Hours

• The office is open from 9 AM - 5 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The office is open from 9 AM - 12 PM on Wednesdays for same day sick visits. The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Telephone Calls

• Phone calls are answered from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday as well as on Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Our lunch hour is from 12 PM to 1 PM daily during which calls may not be answered.

Vaccinations

• Dr. Abraham strongly believes in the necessity, benefit, and effectiveness of vaccinations. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics / Center for Disease Control immunization schedule which can be found under the "Forms and Resources" tab of the practice's website. Olive Branch Pediatrics welcomes all patients and families who share Dr. Abraham's belief and commit to the traditional immunization schedule.

Well Visits

• We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics' Bright Futures guidelines for the screenings we perform and the topics we discuss during routine well visit exams.  We know that many of our families prefer to cover additional concerns during these scheduled well visits instead of at a separate office visit. Please be aware that an office visit will be billed alongside the well visit per current insurance guidelines.
